Denali Outdoor Center (D.O.C.) is now offering cabin and camping accommodations at our premier property on the shores of Otto Lake. Our economy cabins and secluded, dry-site camping sites give guests a real opportunity to experience the peace and solitude visitors expect in the Denali area. for D.O.C. customers with can also combine rafting, kayaking, mountain biking or canoeing reservations in one of our discounted packages for extra value.

Otto Lake is conveniently located 2 miles south of Healy, Alaska and 7 miles 10 minutes north of the Denali National Park entrance. Guests can enjoy canoeing, kayaking and mountain biking conveniently directly from our Otto Lake headquarters without the hassle of driving or crowds. As well, we offer courtesy shuttle service to and from all D.O.C. rafting excursions.

There are 3 economy cabins (click on the still images for larger view) set in quaking poplar trees on the shoreline of Otto Lake. Each cabin comes with a private deck offering spectacular views of the Alaska Range. The cabins will comfortably sleep 2 or 3 guests and have shared use of our shower-house, laundry and kitchen facility. All of our facilities are well maintained and very clean. Prices are for double occupancy, $10 extra per person. Cabins are no smoking.
Dogs permitted for $10, must be on a leash and with owner at all times.
We recommend that you have your own vehicle as there is no shuttle service for guests in our cabins and campground.

Denali Outdoor Center offers a variety of campsites. We can accommodate small RV's up to 30' and trucks with campers in our 10 'view' sites. These sites have spectacular views of the Alaska Range. We do not supply hook-ups for electric or water. There is potable water available. Our lakeside sites are more suited to tents. These sites are in a heavily wooded aspen and spruce forest along the lake shore. Many of these are walk-in sites, most within 100 yards of the parking areas. This camping is some of the most private you will find at Denali National Park. In addition, we have 2 group sites. These sites provide camping for up to 20 people, with central firepits and picnic tables. Campfires will be permitted only during times of low fire danger. Outhouses are available throughout the campground.

Camping at Otto Lake is private and secluded with wooded sites and great views of either the lake or surrounding peaks. All sites are dry but each site has a fire-pit, cooking grate and picnic table. Fires are only allowed during “low fire danger” periods which will be posted daily at the D.O.C. office. Use of a shared shower-house will be available for an additional fee. Outhouses are available throughout the campground.
