The goal of Denali Outdoor Center is to provide visitors to Denali National Park, Alaska the opportunity to enjoy the natural wonders and beauty of this spectacular destination. Friends and families can choose from action-packed Alaska whitewater excitement or mild scenic Alaska wilderness river trips suitable for ages 5 and up:
	Raft Trips - Choose Your Adventure!  Denali Outdoor Center offers several river trips on the boundary of Denali National Park, Alaska. Explore the splendor and excitement of the Nenana River with over 40 miles of mild to wild whitewater adventure. Free shuttle service available from local accommodations.
	Paddle Rafting - All Forward!   This activity requires hands on participation in class II to IV whitewater with fun and excitement for all.
	Oar Rafts - Enjoy The Ride!    Just hold on and let the professionals navigate class II/III or III/IV rapids depending on the trip you choose.
For a fantastic and unique Alaska whitewater experience you may want to try our inflatable kayaking adventure:
	Your Own Boat - Follow Me!   Kayakers will receive thorough instruction from a professional guide on this exciting and fun adventure. Learn to kayak and paddle class I, II and easy class III rapids on the boundary of Denali National Park, Alaska.
	Dry Suits:   Not a wetsuit! We provide every whitewater guest with the comfort and confidence of state-of-the-art river apparel with Kokatat and OS System drysuits! Glacial waters are unforgiving but with the proper outfitting at D.O.C. you can make a splash and have fun in the water. 	Get Off The Bus - Take A Ride!   Try a pedal into paradise with half-day, full-day and multi-day rentals available. Also, tours available in areas surrounding the park with a 4 rider minimum.

     Recognized as the premier wildlife, sightseeing and scenic attraction in Alaska, Denali National Park is a six million acre preserve encompassing Mt. McKinley (Denali) at 20, 320 feet. Vast wilderness areas, with lush glacial valleys surrounded by numerous glaciated peaks of the Alaska Range, create an awe-inspiring environment. Grizzly bears, moose, caribou, wolves, lynx, fox and a host of other mammal and bird species exist in a virtually untouched and harmonious ecosystem.
     The Nenana River is the eastern boundary of Denali National Park for nearly 40 miles. The glacial whitewater gradually increases from mild class I moving current in the upper reaches to exciting class III/IV rapids in the lower canyon. This allows for a variety of options for river adventures to enhance your vacation to Denali National Park, Alaska.
If Alaska's rivers are not your style, explore Denali National Park by mountain bike and experience Alaska on a more intimate level. We suggest a bus ride in and a bike ride out. You will need to make reservations on a "Camper Bus" available through the Wilderness Access Center. Each bus has space for 2 bikes.
     The Denali Outdoor Center headquarters are conveniently situated on the shores of the Nenana River within a few minutes of the Denali National Park Visitor Center.
